Swipe accross ➡ Hi. Finally posting again. Life has been even crazier with things at home n also at work, moved to a new department n its been super hectic with everything. Anyway, im not gonna go into details, but ive been cooking without any help with the cleaning up afterwards, n knowing that ive got so much to do, ive been rushing even more n havent really been filming more cooking tutorials. I managed to take some shots though, hope u'll like it (if u decide to try making it) 😊
Grilled rice stuffed with salted fish n veggies 🍱 Filling: 1. Soak the salted fish in water for a while (to reduce the salt), then dice them. 2. Saute some chopped shallots, garlic, chillies, diced carrots, n diced salted fish + thinly sliced mushroom (no need for salt/pepper) ➡ keep on stirring til its cooked.
Assembly: 1. Cut out some clean banana leaves/alumunium foil. 2. Place n flatten some cooked rice on it (similar to sushi, only thicker). 3. Spread the salted fish dish thats just been cooked - onto the flattened rice. 4. Add some basil, sliced scallion, lemongrass n ginger + 1 whole spicy chilli (suit your taste 😀). 5. Roll the banana leaf/foil to cover the rice, forming like a small dough wooden roll. 6. Grill them (ps. They'll turn brownish, but mine didnt coz i took them out of the grill as soon as it was time to break our fast. Riz was starving n i couldnt just watch him eat it 😂). Its a dish worth waiting for! 😉
