🗓As we are half way through January, many people have hit their New Years resolutions hard. Gyms are poppin with members and exercise is abundant. This is a good time to remind all of you of a few truths that will make sure this year and the ones that follow are going to be different than before, because this time you’re going to do it right.

🏃‍♂️While exercise is always important, it takes much more than just this to create long lasting, body composition changes. Getting stronger is important, but your body functioning how you want daily should be the main focus.

💊Often times many will turn to using supplements and diet products and pills to be the magical elixir to burning fat and losing weight. Supps are only meant to compliment an already healthy lifestyle, not to be relied upon for massive body composition changes.

🥗The expression “You can’t out train a bad diet” or “you can’t outrun your fork” holds much truth. Without properly fueling your body, there will always be a lower ceiling of fitness you can achieve. Ever try to exercise hungover? This is extreme but what you put in your body matters for optimal physical activity.

💪I’m not saying you can’t get results from exercising, obviously you can. But exercise alone is only one part of the equation. Many people lose weight just by changing their diet and minimal exercise. Of course for optimal performance and condition, both are necessary but not all things healthy are created equal and valued the same.

sorry for blowing up everybody’s feed lately but, I have a feeling it’s going to continue :) these first couple weeks of being a new mama and having a new baby have consisted of tremendous amounts of learning, on both sides.
