Woke up early as usual to get breakfast ready for the boys, then I told myself to rest but I had trash cans to take out, the weather felt good so I put Paul on the stroller and I walked around the neighborhood.
My body is not ready for foam rolling nor stretches yet, by tomorrow I'll be able to, meanwhile light massage on my legs, feet, and lower back and icing.
Although I had a setback with my injured foot, I have to say that #jeffgalloway #runwalkrun #method helped me through. How? You might ask, well the run/walk/run method is less damage to repair after a run, the legs, knees, etc., feel better, sooner. Injured runners like myself have been able to train for and run marathons while the injury gradually healed. Walk breaks can keep one below the threshold of further irritation.
I'm feeling good, my foot is still a bit numb but I'm not in pain.
Tomorrow sports podiatrist will check my foot to make sure I didn't further my injury🤞
