I laid out my clothes last night and set an early alarm but today wasn't the day. The extra hour sleep in my cozy bed won. This is the longest I've gone not running after a big race but I'm embracing the recovery and all the wonderful sleep for sure! #runnernotrunning #recoverymode #oisellevolée

Today marks 10 days of no running and I'm starting to go a little crazy. First run post marathon: wildly unsuccessful. Knee still doesn't want to work (not really surprised🤷🏻‍♀️).... but at least the fresh air and the trails felt amazing 🙌🏼🍁☀️🌾🌲.

Took yesterday completely off because my ankle hurt from not wearing my shoe inserts so that’s my BAD. Anyways, ran 30 minutes today. I hate running for time instead of distance but was averaging around 7:45 pace the whole time. Getting back into it because the half is quickly approaching RIP. My first attempt to run since the marathon...legs are great, but my neck pain can't take it 🙁with each stride the pain was getting worse, so for now I'll just have to enjoy long walks and plan on giving Spin Class a try. At least the sun was shining 😎
