The entire #postagestamps haul from my visit to Coast Philatelics store in Costa Mesa earlier Saturday. They number over 400+ stamps of various topics and images (99% are all old school stamps) as well as a few sheets (Christmas themed) that will be useful for the upcoming Christmas card mail that I'll be sending soon to more places. This is a philatelist's dream come true! Worth the long trip and a bargain to all this! #philategram#philately#mrabespost#prangko#timbreposte#sellos
A Blue Duck stamp from New Zealand. Issued on 2/2/1987.
The Blue Duck is an endemic species of New Zealand that inhabits fast flowing alpine rivers and streams. Blue duck are a taonga (treasured) species that Maori have a strong cultural, spiritual, and historic connection with. They are believed to be an ancient species of waterfowl, that appeared at a very early stage in evolutionary history. Their isolation in New Zealand has resulted in unique anatomical and behavioural features.
