How many good places for breakfast can there really be in one area?. Well, we keep finding them in SE Portland. We recently visited Zeal’s Cafe, a nice, old school corner cafe serving above average standards for breakfast. The Hangtown frittata with oysters, bacon, Asiago cheese, and scallions was especially delicious.
Zell’s Cafe will be in our next version of MagoGuide Portland Pro… https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/magoguide-portland-pro/id1347345371?mt=8
The classic nova at @_rose_foods_ is completely worth the hype. The bagel lends a tender crisp, a gluten-y chew, and topped with smoky, buttery lox, fresh dill and the rest of the gang. Glad to see no unseasonal tomatoes here. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow 🤩. 🤤
The Rogan josh at @bhunarestaurant might just be the best I’ve ever had (and that includes all the rogan josh I ate when I lived in India for five months). Photos don’t do justice the scrumptious aroma and prominently spiced flavour of the sauce; I also appreciate that the lamb is lean, yet still tender and that the rice bowls come with raita, veggies and mango pickle! If you live in NW Portland you’re really lucky to have this spot opening up in your neighborhood! They open officially on Wednesday so go pay them a visit!!! #pdxeats#bhunarestaurant#inpdx#eaterpdx#pdxfood#roganjosh#huffposttaste#buzzfeast#portlandfood
