One of the best examples of self restraint I see periodically is from my Dad, which is pleasing in so many ways - here's a picture of his Duck Rice, which we shared as a family while I'm visiting. There's a nice ring of rice left over around the outside of the plate, because he's used the rice he wanted to use to accompany the duck. Good morning!!!
Today’s breakfast includes toasted whole wheat bread, smashed avocado, tomatoes, and some crumbles of white cheese :)

I am not a chef and I don’t have a ton of time to cook my meals each day because I have children hanging off my legs and attempting to jump off couches and such 😩...so I tend to keep things simple. Tasty, but simple..

Here I have a portion (using my portion control containers) of protein, carbs, veggies, and healthy fats..
.
I sautéed up some bell pepper and zucchini, used my meal prep pork loin, meal prep potatoes, and added my olives. It came together in less than 10 minutes!!

Meals don’t have to be elaborate or fancy, they just need to be nourishing and balanced! Im so relieved nutrition plan I’m following lays out exactly what food groups I should have for each meal. It’s been so nice to rely on the clearly laid out plan and know how to eat for results I’m striving for. I’ve actually found it so comforting to know what food groups to have with each meal and not have to overthink my day. It’s become second nature and my body feels great because my macronutrients are balanced..

If you aren’t sure how to eat to maximize your results, let me know. I’ve finally found something WORKS (and my challengers would agree!) and is simple and sustainable. No cutting out food groups here! I’m on #teamcarbs 😆

Healthy platter goals 👌🏼

Good morning lovely people 💖 I just started my day with a big bowl of oatmeal with mixed berries, banana & almonds 🌱 I always have big portion sizes, but I actually have only 3 or maybe 4 meals a day. Did you know research shows that you actually eat fewer calories when you eat 3 or 4 big meals than when you eat small portion sizes during the day? Because your tummy is full after each meal, you feel more satisfied than when you eat a lot of small portions 😊 Besides, research shows that for most people, it is easier NOT to eat (and wait until your next meal) than eating less than you want to eat at that moment (what you do when you eat small portion sizes during the day). Another benefit of not eating snacks is that you give your body more time to recover, because your body is not busy with digesting small amounts of food the whole day. But please note, if you don’t feel fine when you eat big portion sizes (for example your stomach hurts when you eat too much or you will feel dizzy) and you don’t suffer with any health or weight problems, that is perfectly fine! Every body is different and it is most important that you listen to your body 😊
