I never miss an opportunity to eat #ramen at @ippudosydney. 4th Ippudo in the world I've visited. The #KarakaMen ramen is phenomenal and takes hours by a master chef to create the perfect broth. The #porkbellybun melts in your mouth.
Another place to recommend is this Hawkers Asian Street Fare. Really has a lot to say about the hawker style except that it's air-condition but the loudness in the restaurant is a typical hawker ambience if you have been to a singapore hawker center. Food was exceptionally good. Talked to the people there and to my surprise it's own by a Malaysian, 2 Chinese and an American. Many outlets available thru out the United States. Initially was quite skeptical about the roti canai thinking how can they possibly served a good roti canai as I had tried several ones in the states. But surprisingly it really tasted like what was served in Singapore! Penang prawn noodle was awesome too with their very unique spicy prawn broth. Curry laksa that doesn't look like a typical one in Singapore was good too as I finished the whole bowl of curry soup. Wontan noodles was ordered for the kids and they exclaimed how flavorful the soup is and the wontan was filled with generous amount of prawn n meat. Char Kway Tiao and Mee Goreng was passible to satisfy the craving. Pork belly with bun was quite a disappointment as there isn't any pork belly seen more like it's just strips of pork. Chili crab soft shell crab with fried mantou was also just edible. Other stuffed tried but ain't photograph are the 5spice fried wings which was extremely good, fried chicken skin passible, fried pork belly was juicy and crispy!
