Forever falling head over heels for natural wool.
This blend of Masham and Blue-Faced Leicester was incredible to work with, I’ll be bringing this one back into the shop for fall, I think you’ll like it too.
I’d say the handle is rustic and buttery. Lanolin, there’s a little left in the raw skein, so while there’s a tiny bite to it, my hands always felt conditioned.
This self designed cardigan was knit in-the-round and later steeked/cut, the yarn held up magnificently, the fibres really stuck together, but I finished it off with a crochet gain for added security (swipe to see).
The blocking was easy on the finished cardigan, not requiring much, just a little bobble adjustment after most of the moisture had been absorbed. Post block the stitches really came to life, defined and soft with a weighty drape.
Then Sunny outgrew it before it could be worn... I’m quite happy really, I get to make another, and someone else’s little boobah gets this one.
