My mom always joked when I was younger that I would be the child of hers to one day bring home a boyfriend named Slash who would be covered in tattoos and piercings. Instead I brought home two men 17 years older than me. 💁🏻Not sure which she would've preferred initially but after this last year I'm confident she's grateful for the love I have in my life!
My relationship is far from conventional. I've gotten a lot of questions over the last year and most of them have to do with my sex life 😂. I don't mind answering these questions, because I'm an open book, unashamed of pretty much everything. However, the biggest and most important part of this entire relationship is the love each of us shares for the other two. People have insinuated that you can't love two people at once and if you claim to, you really don't love either of them. Well, I'm calling bullshit. Just because everyone doesn't have the same capacity for love as we do does not mean our love is any less valid or deep. And that has been proven to me over and over again during the last year.
These men respect me, they cherish me, they constantly thank me for being in their lives, they spoil me, they take care of me, they embrace the parts of me that I don't even like, they open up to me, they've allowed me to strengthen their relationship, they make me feel secure, they protect me, they reassure me, they make me laugh, and most importantly they love me.
Thank you to my friends and family who have embraced this relationship and welcomed Michael and Joe with open arms. I've got a feeling this is just the first year of many. 😜
I love you both so much. You make me so incredibly happy. Happy anniversary!
