The calm before the fall at Panther Creek.
A few weeks back I spent a good 3 hours at Panther Creek Falls and a lot of it was in the upper creek area before the falls. I really appreciate the beginning part of waterfalls and the serenity they represent. With the popularity of the main and lower falls I think this part of Panther Creek is really under appreciated and definitely not captured much. Hard to represent the force of the current with this shot and the freezing temperature of the water while I am sitting in the middle of the creek.
As I reflect back on the last 9 months since my move to the PNW I have been blessed to experience so much and meet some amazing people. I truly look forward to 2018 and exploring more and collaborating with all the friends I have been fortunate to shoot with and those i have yet to meet here in the great PNW. •
