Post show cardio 😆💦. I was ready to get back to the gym after a couple of days off (No gym the day before the show and show day) but was told no lifting due to the possibility of injury so I ended up doing some steady state cardio on the stairmaster and then finished off with a few body weight plyometric exercises. I forgot how much those burnnnn 😱🔥🔥🔥. I did 20 reps each exercises for 4-5 circuits (if it's single leg then 20 reps each side for 40 total). It was so nice to be able to eat whatever I wanted and to be full and have tons of energy. After going through this experience, the excuses like "I'm too tired" etc are going to get no sympathy from me 😂. I can't even explain the difference I feel energy wise from being on prep to now. I feel like I can run a marathon and lift for days. When your on prep it feels like how those people of the survival shows look like. You've seen those shows right? Like when they need to build a hut or try to look for food but they are just lying there on the ground because they have no energy? Yeah that's how it feels 😂. Except you have to push yourself through cardio and weightlifting. Food is magical 🌈. Anywhoooo I feel amazing right now! I have lots of energy and I feel rested. I started my reverse diet today and I wasn't sure how it was going to go. I kinda thought I was going to have to go back to my exact same diet and slooooowly add in more calories but no. My coach gave me soooo much more food right away 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. Such a pleasant surprise. It's still the same foods I ate on prep but wayyy more of it. Luckily I still love eating those foods and will post a food diary of what I'm eating today either tonight or tomorrow. Also cardio got cut in 1/2 🙌🏼. Goal is to get it back down to zero that way when your wanting to cut again, adding in just a little bit of cardio will go a long ways so you don't have to do so much.

Working out on holiday Balance? 🤔
I gotta admit, trying to working out on holiday a year or two ago would have created a haaauge anxiety for for me if I missed just 1 training session! .. that definitely isn't "balance" ..thats some crazy obsession 😂💁🏼 This is probably one of the first holidays that I've actually gone out and "smelt the roses" 💁🏼 So what have I been doing to stay active?
There is heeeaps you can do! And this is what Jade & I are all about with our clients! Creating balance and opening up your eyes to so many variations and ways to be active & burn fat wherever you are! 🙈🔥 So activities I have been doing: - fat burning hotel circuits - Walking everywhere - Using my resistance bands morning and/or night
- The mini Hotel multi gym - Plyos in the parks
And many more 😊 remember there's more to life then creating a false anxiety that you HAVE to find a gym everyday. Actually taking a lil step back may benefit you (like it did for me) there are a lot of us out there that are guilty for over-training with out even being aware 💁🏼 There are so many different options to get fit and healthy so don't just limit yourself to one!
Enjoying one of my last lovely walks in Brisbane today 😍🤙

Everyone has a story, right? And since it's #transformationtuesday and honestly I keep making excuses to post this, I thought I would step out of my comfort zone & insecurities and just do it. Being transparent & vulnerable is really hard. Especially when speaking on the topic of weight loss. You see I haven't always been "fit" and staying in shape "doesn't just come easy for me." To understand where I am now, you have to understand where I came from. And maybe, just maybe you can find hope if you are in the same boat. By the age of 18 I was very much over weight, insecure & angry that I had allowed myself to use food as a coping mechanism. On top of all of that I had an undiagnosed thyroid problem. I had two options at my lowest point 1. To keep going the way I was & just become even more miserable & take a toll on my health OR 2. Make a change. I choose option 2 and now 13 years later I'm so glad I did. But let's be real. It's been hard. There have been a number of tears shed, bad attitudes & "let's start over again tomorrow's" along the way. My body has endured three pregnancies (twins in there) & so much change the past 13 years. We are all give 24 hours each day so make the most of it. And as cheesy as the nike slogan is...JUST DO IT got me through all those hard moments. So I'm here to maybe inspire even just ONE of you to make a change. Start today 💚 YOU CAN DO IT 💚 8.22.17

MAGIC plyo push-up set. 🙋‍♂️Who did I trick?
___
Although push-ups are usually done to target chest and triceps, none of these variations were done for that purpose. The falling push-ups target reaction time.
___
The arm swing push-ups are used to help increase your speed. More specifically, they target your acceleration because your arms are a huge factor in your take off. Doing these plyometric arm swing push-ups will help to increase your explosiveness.
___
The push-ups that I did on the 7.5lb dumbbells help with balance and core strength.
___
Who would have thought that push-ups could target so many other aspects of fitness? 🤷‍♂️

🏋🏽Haven't done plyometrics in a while. As you can tell I need to improve on my landing and be more fluid in my jumps. Looks like an earthquake everytime I hit the floor. There's always room for improvement and that's why I did this video. Keep getting better everyday and work on your craft🏋🏽

Tuesday morning #plyos are #brutal! True confession, I'm more of a night owl than a morning person, but I'm really glad I didn't save this one for after work!

After many technical difficulties with my computer I switched to my dvds to get my workout in. Tonight I did a different cardio program than what was planned, but what's important is that I did it! I didn't give up when things weren't going right. So many times we let little difficulties and obstacles in life hold us back from reaching our full potential. Not me! Not today! 😀❤️💪🙌
