From my #BEFORE_VACATION_ORDERS 😻
Some my customers are really creative persons! And I always saying, my clients are my so-authors.
Several weeks ago, I received request from one beautiful lady (well, it’s not a surprise, all my female customers are really beautiful ladies, it’s just my specialization 😜😻❤️). But her message was very interesting!
Usually, people have very approximate, very general ideas about what they like to have. It’s not a big problem, we always find together the correct answer. But this case was absolutely special!
My customer sent Me colours’ pallets for all three her order (I’ll show all of them later). It was very interesting, and quite inspirationally!
There were only two problem before Me: find the most smart colours’ decision for my nailing customer, and find ‘hoped-for’ colours of yarn.
The general politics of our Icelandic ÍSTEX-yarn company, is natural palette. ÍSTEX produces some special colours also, see my antecedent post, but sometime it’s not so easy collect together some colours lines, you really want.
I contemplated again and again, how combine these colours together in most elegant way... Couple days I was like a real somnambulant 🙈🙀 👻 I can not imagined HOW it must be, I hadn’t seen the final result!
And one night I saw in my sleeping-dream the brilliant solution of this artistic problem!
I took a look on a pictures of my customer again (in 100-s time), on her palettes she sent and my brain FINALY coped with the task!
The first palette became my real sour of inspiration! In one moment, all scattered parts of idea found his places!
The burgundy and shadows of turquoise are not very good companions, but nobody asks me put them together! It would be too contrastive! But, if dissolve them in different directions, dilute by neutral tone they start play in absolutely another manner.
Burgundy in down area, several allusions in turquoise direction, neutral beige, and OPPOSITE colours decision: very few glisters of burgundy and general turquoise theme on the top.
It was a Moment Of Truth for Me!
And then, in next one and half days I knitted out this sweater from my brain in reality! 😜
