There were coconuts when I popped in to get a few groceries today and I thought 🤔hmmm... well this is fun. The nine year old will have a great time as we tackle how to open them....And it was a great activity and an experience, because I think the last time we did this was when he was a lot younger. It was fun to watch him in this experience. I think the only thing better would have been to enjoy these in their place of origin🏝. Coconuts are all the rage. The shells are even being repurposed Into bowls and spoons. They have been touted to have super nutritional qualities, like other whole foods. They add variety to our diet and to me are a lovely taste of the sun in the middle of January. We collected over two cups of the water inside. How great is that!?!
