PLATE PRESS: This is a finishing move for the FRONT DELTS. I do this at the end of my workout when I am completely fried. The object here is not how much weight you do, but rather you focus the contraction of the front delts as you press up each rep. When you return to the start position, focus on keeping the collarbone pressed down. Far too many people let the traps come into play when doing most every shoulder movement. I sometimes superset these with a very light Arnold press, again focus is on max contraction of the front delts. Do not look out the elbows at the top of the rep. Keep them slightly bent so all the tension remains on the target area... Watch on our FB page!
