In honor of skin cancer awareness month, have decided that in addition to posting this patient’s before and after photos, we will also include the photos of her forehead flap. We usually do not include these photos as they can be unsettling to some, however we want to spread awareness and educate about the entire process of a MOHS reconstruction case.
Skin cancer is becoming more and more prevalent in younger adults - Even this patient pictured, who is a doctor, and Dr. Wayne himself, have both been through a MOHS reconstruction case due to skin cancer. It happens to everyone! Even doctors!
It is never too early to start preventing and treating against damaging UVA/UVB rays!!
