Day two of school holidays. So here we are with our tumblers filled with hot beverages. I make it a point to avoid buying hot drinks when out. And if I do, I always carry my tumbler to avoid getting paper/plastic cups 💚✌🏽 We lazed about at home all day-movies, pancakes (since it is officially pancake day), hosed down 💩 covered toddler...you know did all the normal parenty things.
The sun is worshipped in Glasgow and it was bright today so kids demanded a picnic in the park.
Isla dressed to the nines, as always. She would add more colour if she could, I adore her colourful style!
Just as we entered the park, the sun disappeared, wind howled and it stared sleeting. Just our luck. But nothing surprising cos that’s just how Glasgow rolls ☀️🌪🌦❄️ all in the span of minutes is typical!
People started evacuating. I know I was treading on thin ice so I mildly suggested we should too, unsurprisingly, it didn’t go down to well.. nothing was going to stop them from getting their picnic. They merrily had their oatcake and hummus(can they get more Scottish?!)and hot chocolate...these crazy Scottish kids had not a care for the icy winds! I have tropical blood running through me, I was frozen half to death!
