The other day I was looking through my old travel pictures and found the one on the left. I was shocked and surprised at the same time. This was really me, with almost the same weight I have now.
5 years ago I decided to change something in my life, I went from eating everything all the time, to eat clean, to avoid processed food, to avoid industrial sugar and I started to workout in a gym. I decided, I no longer want to be that person, who always gains weight and then is trying to lose it somehow and gains it again. I was tired of it! Nowadays I'm training 4-5 times a week and trying to make better food choices, to be healthier and to improve my performance for training and I feel so much better!
I often forget how far I’ve come, how I improved my fitness, how strong I’ve become and how much better my eating habits got.
We often tend to forget where we came from and where we started, we are so caught up in getting better that we forget what we already accomplished. We should look back and be proud of ourself!
I’m far from being perfect and I never will be, being perfect would be boring cause then there is nothing to improve anymore. It’s about being real, enjoying life, give everything you’ve got every damn day, never give up and don’t stop believing in your dreams!
So be real, be you and be fucking proud of yourself, no matter how far you’ve come in your life journey and where it will lead you.
