Fuelled my brain and bod with some messy but tasty overnight oats this morning, topped with an apple, dates, maple syrup, flaxseed and a couple of dollops of coconut almond butter for the healthy fats✨
Thank you so much to everyone that wished me luck earlier this morning for my exam!! It was done on a computer so I got my result straight away and I actually got 90% which still seems slightly crazy to me🤭 I’m not trying to sound full of myself at all, I’m just v pleased as it helps show me that I am actually smart enough to be here (been struggling with comparing myself to all the brainy people on my degree) and that fuelling myself better has made a difference!! The past couple of weeks I’ve made a real effort to actually eat my agreed meal plan and just to look after myself better, and it shows that fuelling your brain properly is so so important ✨ even if you think you’re ‘just sitting’ or not being that physically active for a few hours, your brain is using so much energy and needs all the fuel it can get just to help you study/revise!
So my lil piece of advice for the day is to keep your brain+body fuelled properly with yummy foods that you like and that make you feel good🌸
