I wish I could repost all these strong vegan athletes to my feed to show that being ripped and muscular can be done as a vegan. We get enough protein. Look at gorillas and elephants. They are kind of strong and big. 😝When you eat meat you're eating higher up on the food chain but it all started from the plant eaters. Amino acids make protein. These amino acids are abundant in plants. We've come so far as humans; science has given us so much knowledge yet we are still somehow eating and Hurting other animals that have feelings and nervous systems in order to get protein?! Not only are none of us today in the US going to die of a protein deficiency but we are over obsessed with thinking we need animal flesh to be strong. I'm not judging as all of you at this point know. I love sushimi. I love oysters. But thinking that those things are making us better athletes? Just isn't true. The dairy and meat industry want us to believe it's true. πŸ’΅πŸ’°πŸ’΅πŸ’°I mean...for good reason. Taco Bell and McDonalds are given money by our government (the same gov that creates the food guide pyramid) to push more meat to us via marketing tactic (I.e. The double double). But at the same time you can't sue for obesity or other issues (hamburger act maybe it's called?) We are supposed to "know" that it's unhealthy to eat processed meat and dairy using common sense therefore we can't blame them? But yet they are marketing to us that we need more? Telling us it's better for us!? That's all I have to say. 😘night night y'all. (Ps - I'm not dogmatic but it's important to question our choices and beliefs and daily habits. I posted this in response to so many people at my gym wondering how I get my protein and wondering how I can be so strong w/o meat)

Coming back soon 🌞🌞🌞

Surround yourself with awesomeness. I get to work with some amazing trainers @1rebeluk. My back lever needs work I know.

πŸŒ™ This is my Ramadan program ... remember that key is planning & there is no excuse not to have a sound plan for Ramadan ... if anything it should a month used to develop good habits (for example avoiding the crazy overfeasting on every single iftar feeling bloated & lazy afterwards ... that's not a good habit for example)
πŸ‘‰πŸ» Few notes:
- This is customized to myself so it depends on each person but if you need ideas please reach out to me via DM
- My goal is to drop a few lbs (~10-15 lbs) to correct some of the post-cut damage which should not be hard to achieve as I'll be training daily and will have staple meals (only one rotating meal)
- Not tracking at all since I'm sticking to the long-term goal but I'm estimating calories to be ~3000-3500 per day as a start but I definitely won't go below 2000-2500 calories as I know I'll still be able to lose some weight on 2500-3000 calories
- Directly after sunset I'll have the first small meal (shake + dates), will head to the gym (~30 mins gap in between) and then have the actual iftar meal
- Water intake will be as usual ... at least 4L per day ... 2L pre-intra workout & then 2L post-workout till suhur

This is not a palace in Moscow. This is not a high-class restaurant or a mall. This is a simple, normal metro station in Moscow. They're that well designed. Let that sink in for a while. #qualitygains

Happy Monday! πŸ€—πŸ’• I hope y'all are having a great start to your week. I love Mondays because generally they're my Saturdays! πŸŽ‰πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Can't wait to head back to the gym to get in a good run, & I was able to make another new bowl today. Woohoo! Does this signature style of bowl look familiar? It should: it was inspired by the beautifully talented @alphafoodie! I think we all adore Samira, right? πŸ™‹πŸΌ Tutorial for this bowl will be up in a bit!
πŸ’Ÿ Ingredients include:
πŸ’• @nasoya Organic Silken Tofu
πŸ’• Blueberries
πŸ’• Coconut water
πŸ’• Blue spirulina
πŸ’• @lyfefuel Vanilla Chai Protein (get 20% off using my code: sharelyfe2017!)
πŸ’Ÿ The swirls were made with @so_delicious Coyo mixed with natural powders:
πŸŒ€ Blue = blue spirulina
πŸŒ€ Pink = @mrm_usa Red Beet Powder
πŸŒ€ Peach = @navitasnaturals Goji Powder
πŸ’Ÿ Garnished with passionfruit & @karensnaturals Just Raspberries

Why is smiling so powerful?? ------------------------------------------------
When you smile, your brain becomes aware of the facial movements and records it. -----------------------------------------------
The more you smile, the more effective you are at breaking your brain’s natural tendency to think negatively. --------------------------------------------------
Have you seen them? Those people that smile to themselves? Their on to something...
--------------------------------------------------
If you smile often enough, you end up rewiring your brain to make positive thought patterns more often than it does negative ones.
----------------------------------------------
Now... isn't that a reason to smile?

Have a happy weekend.

Super hot today in Manchester today! So I had fresh spinach, cold black beans which I made this morning and then some chunky Guacamole! Still can't believe what happened in our region on Monday, but trying to stay positive and send out positive vibes as well as praying, for all the victims, their families and all that was there who witnessed.
