And now im living it :D Its an amazing job, from a distance, I get to interpret and analyse CAT scans, MRIs, Ultrasounds and Xrays, trying to find a cause for the patient’s symptoms. Its very satisfying when the puzzle is solved, when the story all fits together and when I can provide a well synthesised, thorough report that will help the patient’s progress and outcome. Surround yourself with people who inspire you to achieve your greatness not compete or act from jealousy and insecurity, stay focused on your passion and avoid distractions that do not help you to grow, and feed yourself an alkaline diet that supports your physiology instead of acidic foods that corrupt your organs and breed diseases. It is easier to say, and also easy to do, i time and with practice.

Raw vegan on film set and two vegans on set. 1 munched on my salad because we didn’t have enough plant based foods available!! Film sets often fill up with take away foods, pastries etc. Changes are happening and you can set your standard for your health. Simple ask for fresh plant based foods and lots of it! My order 1 litre smoothie, 1 orange juice, a salad and came packed with extra frui which kept my energy high for a good 12 hour shoot!
Remember the better your health is, the better your performance delivery is!

The problem with this muscle is that it tends to be best friends with our sciatic nerve, the large nerve that runs down from the back, alllll the way to the feet. 🙀The sciatic nerve can run UNDER or THROUGH the piriformis muscle.🙀

With that in mind, the tighter our piriformis gets, the more likely it is that the sciatic nerve will be unhappy 👉🏻 When the sciatic nerve is unhappy, it causes some radiating pain down the leg. -

Disclaimer - there are many reasons for radiating pain, but if you are generally healthy and don’t have back pain, this is probably the culprit! -
Try stretching your piriformis out by bringing your leg up and over to the opposite side, and grabbing the shin with the opposite hand. Adjust as needed, but you should feel a pretty intense stretch in the back of your hip! -

Try a 30 second stretch, twice per day to #moveintohealing ! This stretch has really really helped prevent pain for me. I try to do it before and after a workout, just to be safe! -

Heute mal wieder gut am ballern gewesen. Erst harte Intervalle auf dem Rad und danach noch fünf Kilometer im Wettkampftempo laufen. Das war jetzt schon die dritte Einheit in den letzten vier Wochen, bei der ich vorher nicht wusste, wie und ob ich da überhaupt durchkommen werde. -
Ich finde, Sport ist so ne gute Metapher fürs ganze Leben. Denn auch da ist es oft so, dass du die größten Entwicklungssprünge dann machst, wenn du durch Situationen gehst, vor denen du richtig viel Angst hast. Wenn dir das Leben ein Hindernis in den Weg schmeißt, bei dem du erstmal nicht weißt, wie du es überwinden sollst. -
Und so, wie dir beim Sport die harten Trainings die entscheidenden Fortschritte bringen, bringen dir auch im Leben die schwierigen Situationen oft das größten Wachstum.

In meinem eigenen Leben zum Beispiel die Essstörung, mit der ich bis vor fünf Jahren zu kämpfen hatte. Ich wäre heute sicher ein anderer, weniger glücklicher und starker Mensch, wenn mich das Leben nicht vor diese Herausforderung gestellt hätte.

Falls du gerade durch eine Krise gehst, oder vor einer großen Herausforderung stehst, mach dir folgendes bewusst. Du musst vielleicht eine Zeit lang durch einen dunklen Tunnel durch. Aber wenn du am Ende dieses Tunnels ankommst, die Krise durchlebt und überwunden hast, bist du hinter stärker, glücklicher, weiser und besser als vorher. -
Oder, um wieder den Bogen zurück zum Sport zu spannen: wenn du durch die harte Einheit durch bist, vor der du dich die ganze Woche gefürchtet hast, ist alles andere hinterher so viel leichter 😁💪!
