I'm not excited and nervous to share this post. Excited cause results (obviously). Nervous cause it's a little embarrassing that I didn't realize how bad of shape my gut was actually in. Now, I wasn't really educated on gut health so I never targeted the root source of all of my health issues! At the risk of going on a small rant, I wanna share a little back story for y'all.
I dealt with stubborn belly fat for the looooongest time. I've never been athletic, but I tried my best to stay active I tried Insanity, jogging, power walking, diets that I could only stay on for about 2-3 weeks and then give up. Now, I go to the gym 4-5 times a week even after work and I feel great!
I had the weirdest digestion issues. Anything and everything I would eat would make my tummy feel funny, especially at night. That meant that I either ate something light or I would just pass on dinner if it got too late. Even if I was out with friends. Now, I can enjoy what I want with confidence that my stomach issues won't last until the next day or the day after!
I felt like I might have thyroid issues just a few months ago. I had all the symptoms: low energy, swollen neck, fluctuating weight, my skin was terribly dry all the time, etc. I went to the doctor so I could see how bad it was. I had blood work done and an ultrasound on my neck. Turns out there wasn't anything wrong with me. Now, these symptoms are gone! (Continued in comments!!)
