It took me a SERIOUSLY long time to love this weird, wacky leg. To accept that I have an ankle & heel for a knee. To be at peace with the fact that it didn't look like my other leg. It didn't feel like my other leg. It didn't function like my other leg.
I'm not going to demand you to love your insecurities & your differences because I know first hand that it doesn't happen over night, it's not a decision that can suddenly be made. But you can LEARN to love them and while you're doing that #SHIFTTHEFOCUS, learn to love what your body CAN do, what your mind can think & what your soul can offer. Because surely that's what's important. WHO'S WITH ME?!
