This was a fun little gem to endulge in last night - a steady, lively, often fun action thriller that takes you from the jungles of China to the open seas and bustling shanty towns of a fictional African territory where Wu Jing finds himself swept into the deadly crossfire between soldiers and hired militant mercenaries in the wake of a deadly viral outbreak.
The cast was total joy to watch, and the film gives us several things the first film didn't, including a better final fight scene, and a greater look at an Asian action star who could very well partake in a Hollywood movie given the right script.
@heidimoneymaker and @aarontoney_action manage to get some screentime with our star for some fight scenery of their own... expect great things from these two in the months to come. And boy can Heidi move.. holy shit! (#planbderfilm can't come to the U.S. fast enough!) This film had some serious behind-the-scenes filmmaking muscle and for the most part, they put it to some ample use. And, I hope that ending means what I think it means as far as plot twists go... I also can't get over actor #GangWu's character (left). Dude is badass, frickin hilarious and has great chemistry with our film's lead.
