FEELING HEALTHY AND HAPPY
Today marks officially two weeks post show/end of my first competition season.
These photos were taken after having a full week off from the gym! My body needed to RECOVER and I am so happy my coach recognized that and suggested I take the week off, rest, and give my body some time to adapt to all of the changes it is going through.
Since my show my body has clearly changed but I am feeling like I am sitting at a very healthy state and I am ready to get to work and start building and preparing for next season! These past two weeks I have tried to keep my diet pretty tight to avoid any crazy post competition "rebound" weight gain. Mentally grasping the fact that my body would definitely be gaining some weight back pretty quickly the first few weeks after the show was pretty difficult...but I must say I FEEL GOOD and that is what matters. Oh and I definitely have been enjoying some much wanted treats here and there. I am working on finding a balance between enjoying the treats but not getting out of hand.
The future is so bright and I am ready to continue this journey and become the BEST I CAN BE!
PS: about two hours after these photos I chowed down on my first ever #pizookie from @bjsbrewhouse...hello heaven. It was worth every single bite!
