So it's time for the monthly rub review and man it was a close one. In the running this month is @meatchurch holy gospel, @angusandoink porky white chick and @lambert's sweet rub o'mine. So first one up is holy gospel: This is the most expensive rub I've used but was it worth it? Yes I would say it's a fantastic rub. It had a great balance of savoury and sweet notes coming through and had a great colour to it. It taste great on both ribs and chicken thighs. A very good rub. Angus and oink. Again a very well balanced rub with good colour. Made fantastic ribs and good chicken. I will definitely be trying some of the others from these guys.
Killed it yesterday with these Hawaiian Pork Sliders and pinapple slaw @wassismeatmarket. Made with the new Lane's Kapalua rub. You need to give this Pitmaster Select winner a try!! Slow cooked in a Dutch oven on the BGE.
