Bicep Tendonitis is one of the most common reoccurring problem areas amongst pitchers, especially higher level pitchers that throw the baseball everyday.
There can be an achey sensation in the area and also a pinching sensation when the arm gets to external rotation while throwing.
This is often seen as fatigue and can be played through though a good 24-48 hours of rest will do wonders.
The discomfort in the area will subside as the arm gets loose but the pain can often feel as if getting loose is not possible. If, and when, the pain is so bad that "getting loose" just isn't happening, I would definitely recommend giving it a few days of no throwing to let the inflammation subside.
An anti inflammatory can help along with light exercises, once inflammation has moved out, to facilitate blood flow to help heal. **Please note I am not a doctor, just sharing from experience.
