Day 2 breakfast on the @cleanprogram - chocolate pitaya avo smoothie bowl with blackberries, chia & hemp seeds in a @heartbowl🥄
I’m not a fan of diets, systems, and rules. I resist all of it as much as I can.
But in the past 6 moths, I’ve opened up to the idea that systems done right actually create freedom. It worked in my business. Maybe it will work in how I eat, too?
With food, I’m all about intuitive eating. Listening to my body and doing what feels empowering & joyful (“The Slow Down Diet” is an amazing book that explains the science of why this approach works).
Dieting is something I did when I was a teenager wanting to lose weight and fit in. But fitting in comes from a feeling of belonging - first of all, to yourself. And then it projects out. And it has nothing to do with how your jeans fit. I just shared on @wokeandwired about embracing my love handles. ♡↠
Anyway, while I’m all about intuition and flow and divine guidance, I’m also all about exploring the sweet spot between systems and free flow. And I’m very very excited to hit the reset button by detoxing my liver and gut by taking a break from refined sugar, egg, gluten, dairy, and coffee (!) for 21 days (+3 days of pre-cleanse). The #cleanprogram includes a nutrient dense shake for breakfast & dinner (it’s legit YUM!) that you can make smoothies with, and a full meal for lunch using approved foods (veggies, most grains, nuts, fish, organic chicken). I’ll keep you posted on how it’s going! So far starting to feel detox symptoms and assisting my body with a ton of water and dry brushing. Eeeek!
