The sweat. Tickling sweat. The sweat with a large gush of breathe being left out in the air. The sweat accompanied with mindfulness. Divine!
For a number of days I have been feeling disconnected from the present. I witnessed a lack of yearning to learn new things, to experience the everyday mundane things with a smile, to recapture the happiness submerged in my own mind. Urban living is the problem, is it?
My inner narrative has frankly not been that interesting for myself. I slip into thoughts - neutral thoughts, more often than not, forgetting to observe people and things around me. This upon realisation made me start craving for a gust of wind, a spray of the sea, or even a tiny droplet of positivity.
Or maybe it was just a lack of rhythm with the present moment. Maybe a phase wherein I thought that I had fallen away from my focus.
So, I decided it was time for me to refocus on what I have and broaden my perspective more. It is certainly not easy to start looking at our own lives with fresh appreciation or develop the feeling of gratitude one fine morning. But it is possible. Let us take the first step. We never know, what might follow on our path to mindfulness.
Getting my sweat to do the talking is the path that I will tread upon. What about yours, dear reader?
