• PILATES CLOSE UP • THE PELVIC CURL •
Ahhhh....the Pelvic Curl....on of my favorites yet most challenging exercises to practice. The Pelvic Curl is one of the fundamental #pilatesmat exercises, yet it is a very complex, intricate exercise that embodies so much the principles of the Pilates Method. •
I have always thought of the Pelvic Curl as a very powerful, empowering exercise as opens up the chest, torso and hips and activates the hips, spine and shoulders in an energizing way. •
Hopefully you can see the details of the spinal articulation, the posterior change activation, the pelvic placement and the breath in this #pilatescloseup. •
You’ll also most likely be able to see where I need some more work in this exercise as a Pilates practice changes everyday with our body and it’s needs, strengths and limitations. •
