Diastasis Recti. Some of you might never heard about DR but yet you feel the symptoms and wondering what’s happening with your stomach. So, DR is a separation of the Rectus Abdominals muscles that may caused during the pregnancy yet we may not blaming the pregnancy only as man may also have DR condition that created by a wrong performance when they are exercising.
How do we know if we have DR? Lay down on the mat with both knees bend. Put three fingers on top of your navel (belly button) and try to lift your head slightly when you are exhaling and see how deep your fingers can reach inside your stomach. Then you may see how much is the gap the middle of your navel and that’s how you find out of how big your DR is.
DR may affect someone’s confidence as no matter how hard you are doing your exercises but if you don’t know how to engage the #abdominal Muscles properly, you’d end up having a protruding pond cake effect on the middle of your belly.
