Lunges are one of the few ‘perfect’ exercises: not only do they sculpt your entire lower body but they’re incredibly functional by recruiting the muscles needed for walking and climbing. So when you add lunges to a moving surface like the #pilatesreformer you not only gain those benefits but also work the tiny muscles needed to stabilize your ankles, knees and hips {can we say #injuryprevention}. Plus, your entire core naturally engages because it’s working to keep you upright so you don’t fall. Oh, and we like to throw in a little upper body too because why not make it harder 😬🤭
