Larry Clark in the Pigalle district (Paris). The beginning of November. He put on his leather jacket and his sunglasses. We started the photo shoot. It did not last long. He is short on time and is a man of few words. I remember his Kids movie released in 1995 that launched the career of Chloë Sevigny. Then came Another Day in Paradise (1998), Ken Park (2002), Wassup Rockers (2004). The fascination of the American director for youth, minorities and skaters is omnipresent in his movies. Many thanks to Sophie Renaut (Rue Antoine gallery) who made this photo shoot possible. Picture taken with a Leica M6, 40mm lens, Kodak 400 ISO Black & White films.
