🐻The left pic was taken at the peak of last year's bulk. I raised my calories too high which made me gain unnecessary weight and a significant amount of fat.
⭕️A great way to begin a lean bulk is by first figuring out your maintenance caloric range and adding just 100 calories to it. This allows you to figure out your body type/metabolism and determine if you're an easy or hard gainer. Gaining .5 to 1lb a week is a great indicator to determine if you're adding quality weight without gaining much fat.
🐿 As long as you remain on a calorie surplus (more calories than one's maintenance) you will gain weight. However, one must figure out what macros works best for our bodies. Everyone is different and our bodies react differently to certain foods. Some people work best on low carbs higher fats, while others prefer higher carbs and lower fats. It all comes down to WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU!
