Happy International Record Store Day to:
1. those who will (be lucky enough to) spend time and hefty sums of money to buy cds, vynils and assorted memorabilia that will most likely increase the already huge collections of these selected few;
2. those who ACTUALLY have a long time, trusty, physical record store to rely on every time they gotta satisfy a musical need of whatever kind;
3. those who OWN a record store, a small, obscure, old fashioned one, full of rare first-press albums and other treasures never seen before and truly appreciated only by niches of hardcore music fans - both owners and customers who are to be considered as living dinosaurs who roam these modern lands completely NOT GIVING A DAMN of music's digital destiny and still proudly, stubbornly attached to physical copies of their favorite records (I'd be one of them if I could) .
To those who unfortunately don't belong to the three aforementioned categories (ME included, needless to say), may this video I posted be of any consolation.
Originally I posted the Jack Black dance from the High Fidelity movie, but it seems that the strict, censorial Instagram's algorithm had something to argue. So I had to fall back on this shorter clip.
This middle finger is dedicated to the copyright infringement shit. And to my being broke in such day as well.
