It’s #WheresTheArtWednesday, and this offering will be on exhibit until Feb. 4, so don’t delay in finding it and seeing it firsthand. Created by Carefree, Ariz. artist Margit Kagerer, this 2009 piece is called Globemallow Kaleidoscope. Kagerer uses her own photographic images printed on fabric to create quilts. “For this quilt I chose the desert globe-mallow to represent Arizona’s wildflowers. They bloom profusely in the spring on the sides of roads, along the banks of washes or in the desert flats.”
