First update whilst running #ph3 by #laynenorton 🏋 First video of me attempting a 160kg deadlift less than 3 months back followed by friday's session making it look like butter for 15 reps. Then onto squatting 140kg (my recent one rep max) for 8, all while feeling 80%. Just shows what commitment in and out of the gym can do, not only but giving your best when the chips are down! Hopefully breaking a 400 Wilks score soon enough and I'll have my first meet. Thanks for the coaching and nutrition @andypatonpt, @rocksolidgym_ for becoming my second home and @henrypamfilo for spotting and the doughnuts 🍩 Bring on the 2018 powerlifting season!

Monday's workout. De load so nothing too taxing this week. Did these pause-ish squats for 3*4@315 then worked up to a single @8 for Deadlifts and ended up with a smooth 430. Very happy with the results of the 1st block of this prep!
