Hey everyone! ✨ Due to a recent calculation of what I earn in relation to how many hours I put in to each piece, I’ve had to adjust my prices accordingly. I worked out that I have been earning €1-2 per hour, sometimes even less than €1/hr. When it was just a hobby I was happy enough with this, however now that the demand has become so much higher, it’s become nearly a full time job, therefore I need to be realistic about my earnings. These new prices still don’t reflect a by any means high hourly rate (approx €10-12/hr), however I believe it’s a nice balancing point between outrageously expensive for you, and the struggle in it from an artists point of view.
I hope you can understand! There’s nothing harder for an artist than adding value to their work with the fear that it’s too expensive, however the simple fact that it’s now become a nearly full time job means I need to be more realistic. **these prices don’t apply to people who have already placed their order prior to this post 😊
My webpage has also had a big face-lift, including a whole section on tips for photography when you commission your pet! Take a look, link in bio!
P.S, I’ve been working on a few secret ‘gift’ commissions recently, to be revealed soon!
