Over the years I’ve worked with so many amazing people and want to know one of the #1 hold ups?!?! Friends and families’ thoughts and opinions.
I can’t tell you the number of people excited to workout but their spouse/friend/parent made some comment and crashed their dreams. Or someone was ready to make changes to their diet and a friend said “oh I heard about this other plan and you should try it first because so and so on tv says it’s good” maybe they meant well but now doubt has crept in.
Stop trying to “help” each other by giving them advice designed for you!!!! Let each person have their own journey and if they are excited to workout cheer them on! If they want to give up alcohol, dairy or whatever, support them! (Yes step in if they are harming themselves but if you just don’t like that gym or brand.... shove it)
Now if you are on the receiving end, stop looking for approval to be healthy! You like running? Go run! Love crossfit? Get your butt in there? Yoga makes you happy? Namastay there all day! Want to do a 30 day challenge? Kill it! Do healthy your way!!!!! Do your thing💪💪💪
