I would never want to be queen… Unless I could be the Queen of Dragons 🐉 👸🏻 🐉 —————————
Located in the southeastern corner of California is Anza Borrego Desert State Park. With over 500 miles of dirt road to wander, it is CA’s largest state park with over 600,000 acres! Besides from awesome art installations, there are miles of hikes, canyons, and beautiful desert sceneries you won’t see anywhere else.

Join our tribe! @shehuntress Meet Savannah @savvvyy22 I started hunting when I was in diapers. Little did I know it was going to become something I am so passionate about 20 years down the road. Each hunt holds a special place in my heart. Whether we harvest an animal on that hunt or not. Just being outdoors is enough for me. Going hunting is such a privilege. I am so blessed with the abilities and all of the opportunities to harvest animals.⠀

What do we do when words don't work?

SoSHR Day 5: @between_2_pines @aliwill12 and I woke up at 5:30 am to catch sunrise over Rae Lakes. Even though it was our "rest day" we were excited by the opportunity to explore and do some scrambling. We probably should have known when the cloud covered blocked the sunrise that things weren't going to go as planned. Mid morning we packed up camp and started to make our way to 60 Lakes Basin where we had planned to spend our day, but just a few minutes into our hike the rain started. We had just enough time to find a good camp spot at the edge of the basin near the pass where we would start the next morning before the sky opened up on us once again, and poured rain and hail for hours. The storm finally let up just before sunset and we were able to play around a bit while treated to an intense cloud display of colors.

If you ever get a chance to hike Mount Charleston, you run into this beautiful high altitude meadow at around 11000 feet which stretches on for close to a mile.
I was lucky enough to encounter a dozen or so deer lazily wandering though, picking at the low grass and small yellow flowers.
I feel like I am always saying this but get outside!
There is so much to do and see in this world, you just have to be present to witness it!

Keep moving. Keep climbing.
One foot in front of the other. Regardless of whether you can't hold the weight of your body any further. The resilience of the human spirit is relentless and once you reach wherever you're meant to be, the weight will wash down your backside and you'll look around and realize that was you that got yourself there xo

Trying to figure out why Portland has the most convoluted road system of any major city

{The Climb} if you would have told me this is the hardest part of Mount Whitney I would have for sure called BS. I thought for sure the 99 switchbacks were going to be the death of me but nope that seemed like a breeze. BUT THIS!!! The elevation starts to get to you and slows you to what feels like a snails pace. Picking through the rock to make sure you have good footing is mind numbing. I literally never wanted to see another rock after this part of Mount Whitney!!
