Today marks Day 30 of the #30daystohealthylivingandbeyond programme that I've been following and I've never felt better!! I'm fortunate to be naturally slim so the goal for me wasn't to lose weight. (Although I know a lot of people who have.) Over the past few months I had slipped in to some bad eating habits. Travelling overseas then juggling a busy lifestyle often grabbing just a bit of toast for breakfast and a crappy bought sandwich for lunch, I wasn't giving my body what it needed and I felt pretty yuck. I was feeling constantly tired and had persistent brain fog and was a bit more wobbly than I was used to.
I felt enough was enough and wanted to press the reset button, break some unhealthy habits and get into shape for summer and the upcoming racing and holiday season.
I was feeling tired, sluggish, wobbly and generally eurgh. So what have I been doing to get all this extra energy?? I've simply been looking after my body, eating whole foods and supplementing my diet with the arbonne nutrition range for convenience and added goodness and I've honestly never felt better. I have lots more energy, my #guns are back and I've said goodbye to a lot of my cellulite. After two children I'm in the best shape I've ever been in.
I've been dairy, alcohol, caffeine, gluten, refined sugar, soy and processed foods free for 30days which are words i never thought would come out of my mouth but I'm so glad I have! There have been times I wanted to quit and give in but glad I'm so glad I put the excuses aside and stuck with it 💪🏻 I thought I'd be skipping to the cafe to order my coffee tomorrow and 'rewarding' myself with a yummy muffin but instead Im looking forward to a breakfast jam packed with veggies and lots of goodness I've become used to.
I'm looking forward to continuing on with a lot of these healthy choices and follow a #healthy 80/20 rule.
I'm excited to help coach another group who are starting on Oct 2nd.
