It's a rare day when I don't finish my workouts with some sort of circuit - I love how it's a little burnout at the end to get a little more sweaty/fat burner/tone and all of that good stuff!
I typically set them up to do 30 seconds on (where your doing the exercises) followed by a 10-15 sec rest and then straight into the next move! I pick anywhere from 2-6 exercises, put them in a little circuit and repeat it 2-3 times!
Here are some of my favorites that I have been incorporating in because they mix HIIT with abs (something im trying to be more disciplined about) so it makes it way more enjoyable!
The moves:
•mountain climbers on slides -> a lot of gyms have these and they are SO helpful to get your core engaged for the rest of the exercises! If your gym doesn't have them regular mountain climbers are just fine but be thinking about your core throughout this whole move!
•plank weight pulls
-> bringing these back because I feel these ones so deep and they require you to work on balance!
•side planks -> I feel like planks are underrated but they are so versatile with all the different types. Plus you can do them anywhere (so no excuses with these guys)
•plank tucks -> I promise you a leg burner with these ones!
I find it so helpful to see other people's workouts here and there to get some inspiration so hope you are able to try some of these out very soon!

I read this quote just after the new year and it sat with me. I mean in true procrastination Angela nature I took a week or two before acting on it.😜
But this morning when my 4:50 alarm went off and then again at 5:00 I remembered this quote. And since sharing is caring.....😃

Hey mama...I see you over there trying to balance it all and carry the weight of the world too!!🌎
We just do. We take it all on, don't we. We tend to wear "busy" like a badge of honor. And we definitely tend to give our Everything to Everyone...but ourselves.🤷‍♀️
I've been learning myself, slowly but surely how to "do it all" but also to know when to say no.✋
If this sounds like you, here are my top tried and true tips to finding balance:👇

1. Make time for yourself everyday. It doesn't have to be a lot, but make yourself a priority and schedule some ME time. Not catching up on laundry either, but rather something you're passionate about or enjoy doing. Taking that small amount of time for yourself will do a lot of good for you AND your family.💕

2. Purge. Seriously. Just by clearing out a few closets, kids rooms or even kitchen and junk drawers, it will give you a sense of clarity. Clutter and chaos contributes to feeling out of control.🤔

3. Plan, plan, plan. Its what we do in my bootcamps to be successful, but overall, writing out your plans and having a schedule prevents the crazy and chaotic when you're feeling overwhelmed.🙈

4. Sleep. 😴 Its highly under-rated. Going to bed early and getting the serious sleep you need helps your body function but also makes you feel amazing. Make it a routine and before you know it, you'll feel energized and ready to tackle it all!👌

It’s okay to ask for help.💕

I don’t like burdening other people with my problems, but more than anything I don’t like being vulnerable. So whatever problem I was facing, I’d just trudge along in silence and try and fail and fail and try til something turned out.

I struggled with depression for much of last year, and for so long I thought I’d just push my way through. I was ashamed that I was eating my feelings, and that shame led me to hide myself away. And I felt so, so alone.
.
I hit my lowest point one night. I don’t know what it was, but I KNEW I couldn’t be alone right then. So I called my mom and asked her to come over, and she brought sparkling cider and endless hugs (moms make everything better 💕). The next day I called my doctor about medicine and made an appointment with a counselor. .
I asked for help.
.
The moment I THOUGHT was my weakest - it ultimately showed me STRENGTH. The strength of my mom supporting me and loving me no matter what. The strength that hope can bring, when you realize you’re not alone and things CAN get better. And ultimately, the strength of realizing there is so MUCH worth fighting for, and if you keep asking for help, you’re going to WIN that fight.

If you need help, ASK. You’re not less of a person for needing help, you’re not a burden to others, and most importantly, you are NOT weak.

One of the most debilitating symptoms of PCOS must be adult, hormonal acne.😔 Adult acne is usually a sign of hormonal imbalance, and it's mainly due to the testosterone hormone. It can also be due to digestive problems, stress,  environment...but most of these issues affect our hormones.
So it always comes back to those famous hormones.😧😧 Acne is upsetting: it can hit our self-esteem pretty bad...especially in a society that tells us that acne only happens to teens. Ugh, lies!

And our efforts to get rid of acne can seem in vain as, time after time, we try new products only to be more and more disappointed.

Thankfully, there's always something that works. I frankly believe there's no such thing as an "untreatable case of acne." You just have to find what works for you. And sometimes, this takes years. Sometimes (most of the time) it means cutting some savory foods off your deit too. But once you find that holy grail, it's literally like you won the lotto!

Lunch: Hillary’s quinoa burger, grilled zucchini and pepper, and some walnuts. I added some salt, black pepper, and just a tiny amount of oil on the grill (so that the vegetables don’t attach on the grill). Kcal circa 300.
