Reconnecting with and old friendship that now is a happy mom and meeting her new baby girl on FaceTime, encouraged me to try to make an online mini session for them and share a postnatal routine. Every body is different but definitely the pelvic floor and transversus abdominis are the ones that can be more challenging to bring back to normal. It' a matter of being disciplined and not overdo if you didn't do a lot of physical activity during your pregnancy. Patience is the 🔑. P.D. The pillow should be your baby 👶🏼😋. What a city run can trigger in me is stopping to take advantage of stairs, green areas and columns or trees where I can hold handstands, Animal flow and Pilates. This is just another great opportunity to be inspired by people that found the knowledge as a powerful engine to satisfy their curiosity. The astronaut Charles Duke for example. The NASA astronaut who explored the moon during Apollo 16, also known for his crucial role as Capcom — the spacecraft communicator — during the hair-raising landing of Apollo 11. Knekkebrød, or ‘crisp bread’ is one of my favorite jewels found at Norwegian supermarkets.This is a good option to minimize carbs, sugar and fat, but is also a tasty alternative instead of cereal or regular bread for breakfast, as well as an easy item to pack for lunch. The crisps are rich in fiber, which makes them filling, and provide very little calories (a slice contains around 20-30 calories). Typically made of whole grains, oats and seeds, it is a wonderful addition to any person craving some starch in their diet while avoiding excess consumption of carbohydrates.  The Knekkebrød history was originated in Scandinavia close to 500 years ago. Some sources say that crisp bread was a staple of the Vikings as they could store them for long periods of time. About stretching... PASSIVE STRETCHING means you’re using some sort of outside assistance to help you achieve a stretch. This assistance could be your body weight, a strap, leverage, gravity, another person, or a stretching device. With passive stretching, you relax the muscle you’re trying to stretch and rely on the external force to hold you in place. You don’t usually have to work very hard to do a passive stretch, but there is always the risk that the external force will be stronger than you are flexible, which could cause injury. ACTIVE STRETCHING means you’re stretching a muscle by actively contracting the muscle in opposition to the one you’re stretching. You do not use your body weight, a strap, leverage, gravity, another person, or a stretching device (like the pilates Ring). With active stretching, you relax the muscle you’re trying to stretch and rely on the opposing muscle to initiate the stretch. Active stretching can be challenging because of the muscular force required to generate the stretch but is generally considered lower risk because you are controlling the stretch force with your own strength rather than an external force.

I have "Gurkemeie" (curcuma) in my kitchen again! This culinary spice, has been used traditionally in India as a disinfectant and treatment for laryngitis, bronchitis, and diabetes. Turmeric is derived from the rhizomes (underground stems) of the plant Curcuma longa, a member of the ginger family. It is responsible for the yellow color of Indian curry and American mustard. Curcumin, which has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, is the most active constituent of turmeric. After an exhausting run, you might be tempted to sit or lie down. But getting off your feet too soon could cause muscles and tendons to tighten up. A better recovery plan is to immediately hydrate and then do stretches for the hamstrings, quads, calves and glutes in the sagital and frontal plane.
