#imagine part 38
Patrick wakes up one morning to a strange feeling. He looks around and his room is normal. He walks out and is surprised to see a kid about 10 years old with messy black hair, coming out of Avery’s room.
“Morning, Pat”, says the boy.
“Avery?”, it can’t be.
Avery turns to his older brother, blinking his eyes through his glasses. “Yeah?”, he says.
“W-What? You’re..., not..., real”, says Patrick.
“I know”, says Avery before walking downstairs.
Patrick follows him and is even more surprised to see (y/n) chatting with his mother. She turns to Patrick and smiles at him.
“Well, look who decided to join in”, says (y/n).
“Mornin’, (y/n)”, says Avery and he kisses her cheek.
“Morning, squirt. Sleep well?”, she asks.
“Not really. I heard banging from Pat’s room”, says Avery. (Y/N) gives a nervous laugh.
“Sorry about that. I was helping Pat to fix his..., door”, she says.
“Uh-huh”, says Mrs. Hockstetter, knowing fully what her oldest son and his girlfriend were up to.
Then, they turn to Patrick, who still looks baffled. “Patty cake, you ok?”, asks (y/n). She walks to him, wrapping her arms around his waist.
Patrick feels dizzy and the only thing that keeps him from falling is her arms around his waist. Patrick tries to focus by looking at her. (Y/N) is wearing a pink sundress with beige shorts. Her hair is in her Wednesday Addams braid and her eyes are as beautiful as he remembers.
“You ok? Did you hit your head or something?”, she asks.
“Am I dreaming?”, he asks.
“You are”, says Avery. Patrick turns to his younger brother. “I’m dead, remember?”, says Avery again.
“Ave, I’m sorry”, says Patrick.
“I know, I heard you..., lately”, says Avery.
“That’s it?”, asks Patrick. “I know my apology won’t bring you back, but I wish I could”.
