What did @benclymer learn from reading @johnreardon570's interview of #patekphilippemuseum curator Dr. Peter Friess? A lot, but one thing that stuck out was they they've just acquired what is likely the first perpetual watch in history. And after @jackjforster did some digging - we found out it sold for just $79,000, or less than what PP charges for any of their perpetuals. This fascinating story is now on HODINKEE.

The reason I had to visit Geneva. I would highly recommend taking at least 3hours for the visit if you are a watch enthusiast. We had 2h and had to rush through half the building... they also screen a movie about their history.
