Krämig pasta med tre sorters ost och smörstekt rågbröd. Vilken fest! 🙌
Jag gjorde en ostsås genom att svetta 2 finhackade schalottenlökar i smör. Vispade i en matsked vetemjöl och mjölk lite lite i taget. I med en bit peccorino och hushållsost. Vispa och lår smälta ihop. I med lite mer mjölk, lite i taget och vispa hela tiden! I med en skvätt vitvinsvinäger och salta och peppra. I med lite parmesan och smaka av tills du är nöjd.
Blanda ihop ostsåsen med nykokt pasta och strö över rågbröd som du stekt på låg värme i både olja och smör tills det blir frasigt 😋 Ät med en gång! Så enkelt och för gott! Är så mätt nu! 😬😁

🏃🏼‍♀️Running has become a passion of mine, and I’ll be running a half marathon in New Jersey this weekend! Throughout all my training for races and even just running more miles for fun, I’ve learned how important it is to tune into my natural signals of hunger and fullness, but also to intentionally fuel with larger portions or more carbs. 🍞🍝

🗣Despite what diet culture may say, I know there is not one “right” portion for me all the time. My running legs or hungry stomach will guide me to eat what I need. I firmly believe you are the expert of your own body and whether your appetite changes based on physical hunger, emotions, or exercise, there are many ways to eat what’s “right” for your body at that time.

Squid Ink Pasta with Tuna (Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia con il Tonno) is for the fish lovers. The sauce is garlic and anchovies-based tomato sauce, with an addition of capers. We used squid ink pasta, but that’s unnecessary, and plain spaghetti works just as well. Two suggestions: do not cook the tuna in the sauce. Canned tuna changes its texture and taste when cooked. The taste becomes metallic. Once the pasta and the sauce are off the heat, toss with the tuna. And secondly, please, no cheese. Parsley and cracked black pepper is all you need. #🇮🇹❤️ #eatitalian

Creamy sun-dried tomato pasta with chiffonade fresh basil-my original recipe!
And 100 % Vegan!!! Ingredients:
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp AP flour (sifted)
1 1/2 cups almond milk (or other non dairy)
Pinch onion powder
Pinch garlic powder
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
6 oz. Penne pasta
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
You are going to start off making a vegan roux. Measure out the olive oil and pour into a medium saucepan, heating on med-med high heat. Once it's nice and hot, sift the AP flour into the pan. (Important to sift so it does not clump) continually whisk until the roux turns golden brown (will almost have a nutty smell when it's ready). Pour in your vegan milk into the roux and continually whisk until it thickens to your desired thickness. While it's cooking, add in your salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders. Put in the sun-dried tomatoes shortly before it's ready to take off the heat, allowing them to soften. When it's thick enough, pour mixture into a high-speed blender, put in the nutritional yeast, and blend on high until smooth. Then mix with your prepared penne and top with some fresh chiffonade basil. Delicious 😋

Trying to savor the final days of Ohio corn and tomato season I recently made this easy peasy Corn and Cherry Tomato Penne. You start cooking the same time you drop the pasta for a quick dinner. I used penne pasta, choose your fav. Sauté a couple sliced shallots and corn stripped from 3-4 cobs in 2 Tbsp. EVOO on medium until shallots are softened and corn is cooked, 4-6 minutes. Add 1-1.5 cups halved cherry tomatoes when pasta has about a minute left and remove from heat. When pasta is cooked, save 1 cup cooking water then drain pasta. Boursin cheese makes a great fast pasta sauce, all I had was herb & garlic cream cheese, I used about 1/4 cup. Add to the pasta with 1/2 cup pasta water, then add your veggies. Stir until cream cheese is melted adding more cooking water as needed to coat the pasta. You can finish with more EVOO on top if you like. Season with salt and pepper to taste. I made fresh pesto, and that would be great in place of, or in addition to, the herb garlic cream cheese. Parmesan could help make the sauce, or be sprinkled on top, and diced zucchini/summer squash would be welcome in this dish. Served alongside some pesto on ciabatta and canary honeydew melon, a perfect summer meal. 🥛Skimmed milk (HEX-A)
🧀Primula light (2 syns)
🧀Cheddar cheese (second HEX-A as I’m breastfeeding but otherwise syn accordingly)
🌱Seasonings and herbs to taste
I served this with a bit of grilled bacon (fat trimmed off) and extra steamed veggies for speed
👦🏼 The baby had the same but made with whole milk and Dairylea .

Snabbpasta idag 🍝 världens godaste bacon från @gardssallskapet , grönkål, schalottenlök och vitlök steks tillsammans med smör. Under tiden kokade jag pasta och när den var nästan klar så slängde jag i den i pannan och några dl av pastavattnet. Låt koka ihop och toppa med mycket parmesan, lite citron och salt och peppar. Typ 15 minuter! 💪👍😁
