Grocery shopping at the supermarket is one activity which Shannon and I enjoy doing together every weekend. 🛍 And now that she is older, I will involve her in the decision-making process of which item actually goes into our shopping cart. 🛒
✅ One easy method of teaching her how to select is just to look out for the Healthier Choice logo on the product. But, a better way would be to study the food labels on the product itself so that she understands why a particular item is healthy/unhealthy.
However, looking at all the food labels can be quite confusing for Shannon. Thus, I was very happy to know that PA @pa.courses actually offers a course where the parent and child can analyse food labels together as well as understand the health effects of potentially harmful food and additives often found in processed food. 😉
Check out the link in my bio and see the wide variety of parent-child courses which you can join and have fun in with your child this June holidays! 👍🏻 #PASchoolHolidaySeries
