10 days at DHARMA YOGA CENTER. ⠀
200 hours Teacher training is over! I still couldn’t believe that I don’t need to wake up everyday and spend my whole day at the center. 😞
It become home for all of us! 🏡
And total bliss to be there, to meet all those wonderful people, mentors, students and learn from the Master Sri Dharma Mittra all sacral teachings.
And our team was amazing! ⠀
And now...
10 days later, 14hrs every day, infinite amount of cobras, pranayama and meditation is over.
I feel different now.
It was really hard, but at the same time worth an every second to be there. Sometimes I did ask myself at the most difficult moments, would I rather be somewhere else, and the answer always was NO, i would do it again and again. ⠀
🍓Along with that I did 10 days raw diet, only smoothies and juices and fruits and teas, and felt amazing almost all the time, full of energy. Even though my physical body was sore and tired at some point I just stopped paying attention on that and it helped. 🤸🏻‍♀️I can’t stop be amazed how our body works, eating and sleeping so little and exercising so much and feeling fresh and glowing. ⠀
Now beginning of new journey...

Yoga allows you to work the whole body. And yet when you're a beginner you work of course the basics but much more standing postures, or ground. But a lot less on armbalances. That's why in vinyasa, the Chaturanga posture is important. It just reinforces the arms to be able to do this posture Parsva Bhuja Dandasana

Strengthens the wrists, triceps, and quads opens the groin, stimulates the digestive system. Focuses the mind. Increases self-esteem and/or humility.

Here Dan and Adam are in #grasshopper #parsvabhujadandasana . From time to time I get asked if we screen students. Never. However what I have observed is that good students attract other good students. It is all in the water. We somehow tend to attract students who want to better themselves.
What yoga reveals is what we are made of: both strengths and weaknesses. With steady practice our weaknesses diminish, we learn to a bit of inner peace.
Only Just two classes a week, but worthwhile practicing with us. Tuesday 7 pm and Sunday at 11 am. And monthly outdoor yoga on Thursday 7 pm (usually let Thursday of the month)

Parsva Bhuja Dandasana/ Maksikanagasana• certainly not perfect but this is how I’m holding it today.
Yesterday I led an Arm Balance & Inversion workshop for a Yoga Teacher Training and it re-inspired me to practice arm balances and inversions which I haven’t been working with for months. Oh how I love yoga, this sacred science, this way of life, each of the Eight Limbs which lead me deeper and deeper into myself and inspire my connection with the outer world 🙏🏾

Algunas veces quiero volar como un ave para ir lejos, otras veces como un insecto de flor en flor, dando un paso a la vez, no queriendo ser quien no soy, no creyendo que soy lo que no soy o lo que aún no llego a ser, solo paseando, disfrutando, reconociendo, aprendiendo, regocijándome con la brisa, con los colores de la naturaleza, sin juicios, sin nadie que me juzgue, sin prejuicios, solo las flores, los colores y los olores que llegan a mi a través de todos mis sentidos y que con una inhalación viajan dentro de mi permitiéndome percibir la vida que me rodea y la vida que soy. Yo soy vida!
