So yesterday morning I woke up with lots of cramps, contractions, and discomfort. I wasn't sure if it was true labor or not. A few hours went by and the cramping never went away. Contractions still coming but not picking up in intensity and remained irregular. --
If you know me, I am not one to call a doctor or midwife for advice... I think it will just "get better!" And this wasn't, I was a bit worried, so I called. With insomnia and a sick kid the night before, I had little sleep. And wasn't taking care of myself as I should have apparently. I medicated with protein, lots of water, and rest per my midwives recommendation as i was already dilating. ---
Today I feel better thank goodness, and I officially made it to 37 weeks = full term! But I did have many realizations when I kept wondering "is this really happening??"
- we have no furniture up in the baby's room
- the bassinet is buried downstairs - all the clothes need washed
- we need to get out all the baby "stuff"
- and most importantly, OUR LITTLE GIRL IS NAMELESS!!! 😫😫😫😫
We have 1-2 that we "agree upon," but we don't love anything as much as we loved Aviana's name!!! So since it seems she's going to stay in her warm dark home a bit longer, feel free to offer us up some suggestions!! We don't have a middle name either! 😳
