Obviously this isn’t the same angle or same setting or same shorts but ugh I’m clapping for my damn self 🤘🏽 Growing up, thigh gaps were the thinggggggg y’all. You’d see pictures all over tumblr/other social media sites and magazines of thigh gaps being idealized/goals.

And as a result, I wanted one too. Buttttt being Hispanic and growing up playing sports and having thick legs ... it just wasn’t in the books for me. I accepted it but loathed my thick legs for SO. DAMN. LONG.

But now, I love my legs. Even though every damn pair of athletic shorts roll up with every step in the gym lol. Thick thighs saves live and save ya food from falling on the floor and all that jazz

If there’s one thing every one should do, it’s learn to love your body in any way you can. When you accept and love yourself, anything is possible

Wednesday morning was LIT with these girls 🔥🔥🔥. And we all wore @nike shoes today 🤗🤗🤗

Warning: this workout is wayyyy harder than it may appear and left me dripping in sweat!!! Tried something new and did a stairmaster HIIT workout for cardio and omg it was good. Try this out and let me know if you think it was as hard as I did 😩!!! Also loving the fact that I can finally put music in my videos!!!

-5 stairmaster intervals (30 seconds on levels 13-15, 1:30 on level 7....you should end up around 9 minutes total on the stairmaster each time)

What started as an idea so two of them could go back to collegiate nationals, ended up as us creating the Parker Endurance Sports Club here at Parker University. We completed our first collegiate race at TriWaco and are currently in 2nd place standing for the male team. Now for me to rest up for 3 weeks and get ready for Craig Ranch Tri that is coming up in September so I can race!

My phone notified me how long it would take to get to the gym, but low key cried inside because today is a rest day even though I had to be the subject and cycle in class.

So as you know, I raced this weekend at TriWaco in a relay because I didn’t want to hobble across the finish line since my shins would be on fire. But we got first in relay and beat the male relay team by 5 minutes! Hopefully I have pictures soon to post from the race. I’m so excited for September to race a sprint triathlon healed and ready to go. So I’m currently taking the next three weeks off from running so my body can thank me later.

12 lbs down in 6 weeks and I didn’t do it by lifting lighter weights 😆. I left some of the “struggle” parts in the videos because I think just always showing the exercises itself and not the effort put into it isn’t an accurate representation of how one really trains. Strength has gone down a teeny bit but that’s pretty normal with weightloss. I’m not sure how much more I need to lose for my show. If I had to take a guess probably another 10 lbs. And just for the non competitors who follow me, I don’t have to hit a certain weight. Female categories are by height. I’m just guesstimating where I need to be looks wise. I’m currently 14 weeks out and officially started doing cardio this week 🙌🏼. And this is what I meant when I said cardio is a tool for fatloss. Food is still high which is great so instead of cutting my calories to create more of a deficit we are adding in some cardio which is another way to create a caloric deficit.
So far prep has been amazing and great! 🙏🏼💪🏼
