Help us share the pangolin love this #valentinesday πŸ’—πŸ’žπŸ’•πŸ’“πŸ’– Pangolins only give birth to one young at a time and the baby pangolins travel around with their mothers by riding on the base of her tail... Or just crawling all over her! ✨

Our pangolin focused week is over, but we have one last video to share!
Meet Kim! Kim is an orphan pangolin that was rescued by Save Vietnam's Wildlife in December when she was just a few days old.
With Kim, SVW staff need to be available 24/7, to feed her, check her health, warm her up... ultimately to become her mother. They have been hand-raising her ever since her rescue and feed her with powdered milk (for kittens) by bottle, as you can see here.
She is doing really well and making some significant developments. Last month, Kim's scales grew stronger and darker and she also started climbing up small branches! #worldpangolinday #pangolin #pangolins #pangolinfact #babypangolin #unitedforwildlife #wildlifeconservation #wildlifephotography #conservation #worthmorealive #wildlife #illegalwildlifetrade #wildlifeprotection

#didyouknow that pangolins are difficult to observe due to their secretive, solitary, & nocturnal habits. There has been little research on just how many pangolins there are in the wild because of this. What we do know is that they are the world's most trafficked mammal! 🌎
