An afternoon of #panakam and #JungleBook is a quencher on so many counts. The panakam is almost as good as Amma makes for Ramnavami (which is just two days away), except it could do with a little more ginger. Amma felt that the color though, was much richer than hers. Must track down jaggery source. Also, Amma sometimes adds elaichi and a pinch of salt as a secret ingredient. What do you put in your panakam?
